SIMUNJAN: A total of 2,139 applicants received 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) vouchers at a presentation ceremony held at the Simunjan District Council’s Dewan Mesra recently.
Batong Sadong MP Nancy Shukri was present to hand over the aid to the recipients.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nancy said 5,610 applicants were eligible for the aid in Simunjan.
“The disbursement for the aid will be done in stages, and today we are distributing it to 2,139 individuals.”
She advised recipients to use the money wisely and reminded those who had yet to submit their applicationforms to do so as soon as possible.
Also present were Simunjan district officer Zainul Abidin Hussain and Simunjan District Council secretary Sait Enggang.
