MIRI: A woman and two men were arrested during a raid on a house at Jalan Jee Foh, Krokop early yesterday morning after police found around 6kg of various drugs.
The three suspects, in their early 20s, have been remanded for seven days to facilitate the investigation.
When contacted, Miri police chief ACP Mun Kock Keong confirmed the arrest.
“Yes … there was an arrest but we have yet to receive the details,” he told The Borneo Post in a text message.
Sources said the drug haul could be the largest for the year.
It is not known whether the drugs seized were meant for local distribution.
