SPDP Bengoh, Tarat hold joint TGM, elect new office bearers

KUCHING: SPDP Bengoh and Tarat divisions recently elected new faces as their chairmen to ensure members continue to progress and uphold the principles of democracy.

Local Sebastian S Senyau now leads SPDP Bengoh while a pilot Capt Miron Ganguly heads Tarat division for the term 2012-2015.

Sebastian will be assisted by deputy chairman Tader Mojig Lasek, Eric Busu (vice chairman I), Four Kadum (VC II), Peter John (VC III), Wary Sedek (secretary), Paul Sundi (assistant secretary), Marcellinus Meran Poes (treasurer), Deni Niko Suwa (assistant treasurer), Robert Kenneth (information chief) and ordinary members, namely Lucas Jalong, Graceting Nata, Roca Sikip, Norlyn Senyau and Repen Nyawen

Its zones will be represented by Tommy Mindot (Semadang), Hang Apong (Braang) and Safiyon (Siburan). Its Youth chief is Andewsen Jeheng while appointed auditor is Felicia Sonatha.

The two divisions which held their joint triennial general meeting (TGM) at a restaurant in Kota Sentosa resolved that they were all behind president Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom and called for his post be uncontested at the party’s triennial general assembly (TGA) at Bintulu on March 18.

The meeting was observed by SPDP Kuching/Samarahan chief liaison officer Capt Zainuddin Tan Sri Hamdan and party supreme council members Ambrose Jarat and Cr Lawas Jawa Musan.

In Tarat division, Miron will be assisted by deputy chairman Benjamin David Padang, VC I Zayani Hamdan, VC II Sireg Tohi, VC III Hassan Bujang, secretary Dadi Juul, assistant secretary Misiah Hajemi, treasurer Deebak Subramaniam, assistant treasurer Doyin Nyapus and information chief Paul Dampo.

Its ordinary members are Grep Broh, Dipong Rekep, Tanji Sabo and Sulong Bujang while zonal representatives are Sunil Ganguly, Amir Jatum and Ajis Nyaon. Its youth chief is Talap Gaot while women chief is Nono Broh. The auditor is David Guwing.
