KUALA LUMPUR: The Veteran Affairs Department (JHEV) has set up the Royal Signals Regiment Veterans Cooperatives to generate income for its members and help widen their business network.
JHEV director-general Mej Jen Datuk Zulkiflee Mazlan said the cooperative was established on Jan 11.
The cooperative would also help younger veterans become entrepreneurs, he told a news conference after presenting medals of appreciation to widows of Malaysian Armed Forces veterans at the Sungai Besi Camp, here yesterday. — Bernama
