KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Tanjung Aru Wanita organized a blood donation drive for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) blood bank recently, in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
The activity received encouraging response from PBS Tanjung Aru Wanita members, the public as well as QEH Visitors Board members.
PBS Tanjung Aru Wanita chief Datin Mary Wong said the blood donation drive was one of Wanita’s annual activities.
She thanked those who participated in the blood donation drive.
Wanita members also visit and assist patients in Tanjung Aru regularly.
“Our Wanita group organizes charity activities every month to help the needy,” Wong said.
