SIBU: A 27-year-old woman from Kampung Jariah suffered 20 stings, while another three, including a man, were also injured after a swarm of bees attacked them.
The incident at 9.30am on Saturday happened at Permai Garden when they were crossing a bush.
The four bolted when the swarm of bees went after them.
Hasmah, 27, had sustained multiple stings all over her body, her face and head.
One of the other two women had sustained two stings on her right arm and the other had one sting on her left arm while two stings had been inflicted on the man’s right arm.
Meanwhile, a man’s Kancil car which was parked outside his house at Lada Road here had been broken into.
The car owner had moved the car outside on Friday night as other cars were occupying the car porch.
He found the front-passenger window of his white Kancil car had been smashed
when he woke up the next morning.
A bag contained a fishing set in the car was missing.
The owner said he felt nothing amiss in the night as he had not heard any suspicious noise outside.
The man said he did not put money inside the car.
