KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Muda Aman has urged BN Youth to double their effort in convincing the people that the BN remains their best choice in the impending general election.

He urged them to make full use of the cyber media to create awareness on what the BN stands for, especially in fighting for the people.

They must also counter the lies spread by the opposition about the BN, Musa said in a  speech read by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Yahya Hussin at the closing of a three-day political speech course organized by Sabah BN Youth at Grand Borneo Hotel here yesterday.

Musa, who is also BN Sabah chief, said BN Youth should equip themselves with speaking skills in order to convince the people, especially voters on the capability of the party and its leaders.

“It is important to ensure the people would not be swayed by the opposition propaganda and tricks in distorting facts and exploiting issues for their own gains,” he said.

“If the opposition’s threat is not seriously tackled, the people might just believe their allegations,” he added.

Earlier, Yahya urged all BN Youth leaders and members to determine a right approach in convincing new voters and existing voters to support the ruling coalition.

He also reminded BN Youth to speak the language that is understood by all people, especially when they go to the rural and interior areas.
