Association’s competitors sweep top prizes

SIBU: Body builders from the Sibu Division Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Association made a clean sweep of the top podium positions at the ‘Mr. Sibu Bodybuilding Competition 2012’, held at the Star Mega Mall, Saturday night.

Its competitors Lu Khim Kok won the Open Class Category (70.1kg and Above), Linggie Sini was champion in the Open Class Category (70kg and Below) and Musa Hanafi won the Novice Category (New Comer).

The second place in the Open Class Category (70.1kg and above) was won by Kong Kait Hua from Albert Gym with Rolyn Terrance Janting from Kapit Gym Club in third place.

In the Open Class Category (70kg and Below), Tiong Cheong Soon also from Sibu Division Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Association was in second place while Spencer Thomas Sauh from Body Work was in third place.

Mohd. Nukiman Nasri from Sibu Division Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Association was second in the Novice Category (New Comer) while Mohd. Khairul Abdul Razak from Body Work finished third.

A total of 21 bodybuilders took part in the contest organised by the Sibu Division Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Association.

All the prizes for all the three categories in the competition were sponsored by the main sponsor, the Star Mega Mall.

Chief Executive Officer of Daesim Management Sdn Bhd, Lau Yew Chung (AYU) officiated at the prize presentation ceremony.   The Gym Master of Sibu Division Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Association, Thomas Lee and the President of Sibu Division Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Association, Chia Soon Cheong were also present.

Meanwhile, Lee when met after the competition said, body builders from outstation and the private gyms in Sibu had improved a lot and their posing were impressive.
