KUCHING: GIST International College (GIC), Suzhou, China is the first and only international partner to The State University of New York (SUNY) – Alfred State, one of the top ranked US private universities in China.
Under the 3+1 arrangement, students can now study the first three years in GIC and complete their final year degree in Alfred, New York.
SUNY is the largest university system in the US; consisting of 64 universities and colleges.
Alfred State is ranked among the top 25 colleges in the northern region by U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2012 Rankings.
It is located in Alfred, New York, a vibrant community with a permanent population of approximately 2,000 residents.
Malaysian students who completed SPM with a minimum of 5 credits including English (and Mathematics for computer engineering technology major) can now enrol for GIC’s American Degree Programme.
It is currently offering three majors: business administration, technology management and computer engineering technology.
Internship is done in New York for business administration in technology management and computer engineering majors.
