KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan recorded their 14th win in the Super League after defeating Sabah 2-0 at Stadium Sultan Muhammad Ke-IV, Kota Bharu Saturday night.
The victory from 20 matches boosted Kelantan to amass 47 points, three less than league leaders Lions XII of Singapore which did not play today.
Kelantan’s two goals were scored by Rizal Fahmi Abdul Rosid in the seventh minute and Indra Putra Mahyuddin in the dying minutes of the game.
Perak secured the fourth position in the table, up one spot after recording a slim 2-1 win against Sarawak at Stadium Negeri, Kuching.
Albert Dominique opened the score for Perak in the ninth minute before Azizan Saperi equalised for the home team in the 45th minute. — BERNAMA
