KUALA LUMPUR: Cosmobeauté Asia is returning for its 8th edition which promises to be bigger in scope, occupying three halls in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur from July 16 to19.

All booths will be occupied by 300 companies representing more than 600 brands so visitors can look forward to explore more international brands and expand business network across Asean countries and international borders.

All international brands are aiming to scout for potential business partners from Malaysia and the Asean region.

Companies from Turkey are participating for the first time; the Korean Pavilion occupies almost 510 sq m of exhibiting area; and companies from Thailand will also be there.

World champion Tom Holcomb will make its debut in Asean by holding the first Tom Holcomb International Nail Competition 2012 on July 17.

Led by Carla Collier as head judge for the competition, participants get to unleash creative acrylic pink-and-white sculptured nail skills in front of international judges from USA, Hungary, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Malaysia.

The first international spa convergence in Malaysia, Asean Spa & Wellness Forum (ASWF) 2012 will be held at the same venue from July 16 to 17.

Organised by the Malaysian Association of Wellness and Spa (MAWSPA), ASWF enables fellow spa experts and professionals worldwide to share experiences with industry players.

A great opportunity for those in the field of importing, distributing, trading or agents as many international brands are participating for the first time.
