BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Some 30 members of GPPS (Gerakan Pakatan Pemuda Sukarelawan, Tutong) including family members went to the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) in Seria recently, in a trip organized by the Social Committee of GPPS, Borneo Bulletin reported.
The objective of the trip was to get to know more about interesting places in Brunei. The visit was also part of the group’s activities this year. This was the first visit by the group and the members had fun, especially the children. The staff of OGDC organized traffic games in which everyone got to learn more about rules and regulations on the road and for pedestrians.
Before the group ended their visit, the head of delegation, Dyg Hilyati Hj Abdul Hamid thanked the OGDC staff members for their hospitality during the group’s visit. Dyg Hjh Arbaeyah OKSW Hj Abdullah, one of the visitors, said that she was looking forward to the next trip.
