Man surrenders to police


REMAND APPLICATION: The suspect being brought to the court for remand application.

MIRI: A man who allegedly hit his elder brother and father a week ago in their house in Tudan has surrendered himself to the police.

The 19 year-old gave himself up before midnight on Saturday at Miri Central Police station.

He was accompanied by his father and mother.

He had been wanted by the authority after he allegedly committed the offence on July 23 following a commotion.

The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means.
