LAHAD DATU: A four-year-old boy and a teenager were killed while four other persons were injured when a Perodua Kancil car collided with a ten-tonne truck at Km 14 Tungku-Sahabat 7 here yesterday.
District police chief Superintendent Shamsudin Mat said the accident occurred about 9am when they were travelling from Felda Sahabat 4 to Felda Sahabat 7.
He said the dead were identified as Azlroy Radonio and 15-year-old girl Marlina Lambus who were both seated in the back of the car.
The 37-year-old driver and three other passengers suffered minor injuries and had been admitted to the district Hospital, he said.
Shamsudin urged the public who witnessed the incident to call 089-881255 to facilitate investigation into the case under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
