IEM, Yes committee members pay courtesy call on Chin

MIRI: The committee members of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) Miri branch and its Young Engineers Section (Yes) committee members paid a courtesy visit on Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water Datuk Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui at SUPP office here recently.

The objective of the visit was to introduce the Young Engineers Section of IEM Miri Branch as well as on seek advice and wisdom from the minister.

During the visit, the committee explained their role in IEM, which was to continuously support their young wards’ professional development to achieve professional engineer status.

IEM and Yes Miri Branch were grateful for the generous contribution and continuous support from the minister.

Meanwhile, Yes presented on their past activities including various technical site visits, seminars and workshops, participation in Yes national summits and international level conferences and charity events.

Through their hard work and dedication, Yes Miri Branch had been adjudged the second best Yes branch, out of a total of 13 branches across Malaysia.
