FESTIVE CHEERS: Mohammad Ali presents ‘duit raya’ to one of the less fortunate guests at the PBB Muara Tuang Hari Raya Open House.
KOTA SAMARAHAN: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Muara Tuang held its Hari Raya Open House at the premises of Samarahan District Office last Saturday.
The hosts were Muara Tuang assemblyman Datuk Seri Mohammad Ali Mahmud and his family members.
Present at the open house were Asajaya assemblyman Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Sadong Jaya asemblyman Aidel Lariwoo, Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni, former Nangka assemblyman Datuk Awang Bemee Ali Basah, District Offcer Mohd Aini Abdul Wahab and community leaders including Temenggong Chek Bujang and several government department senior officers.
Around 200 orphans and physically-challenged children as well as children from the Community Rehabilitative Centre Samarahan received ‘duit raya’ from the hosts.
Apart from the varieties of food, the hosts and guests were entertained by local singers.
