Sneak preview of property investment with high rental returns in Penang

SANDAKAN: If you are interested in property investment, head down to the Four Points by Sheraton here for a sneak peek at KL Metro Land Development’s latest offering.

Each Lexis Suites unit in Penang offers a swimming pool and a sauna but its key attraction, according to KL Metro Sales and Marketing Manager Loh Koon Wan, is rental returns.

“People get excited to invest is because of the track record we have as a developer. Rental returns are very attractive. We are giving 7% for the next three years, guaranteed rental.

“If they want to continue and lease back to us, we are proposing 15 years lease back. Approximately, during the 12 years plus the three years they will take home about 12.8% of rental returns,” said Koon Wan.

KL Metro has showcased Lexis in most parts of East Malaysia and Koon Wan described the showcase as encouraging, with about 52% of the 224 units having been sold.

“The showcase will proceed to Sutera Harbour in Kota Kinabalu next weekend.

“Today we will have two-day show here and invite the Sandakan locals to view and we give them an idea of owning a unit in Penang.

“Partly, if they’re looking for hassle free investment, this is a unique property,” said Koon Wan.

According to Koon Wan, the project’s total cost is over RM200 million and prices for the remaining units start at RM700,000 to RM900,000.
