SIBU: A woman from Tiong Hua Road lodged a police report last week after a neighbour allegedly threatened her following failed attempts to buy her house.
The woman in her 50s told police the neighbour threatened to kill her and her family members and then throw their corpses into a drain if the demand to buy the house was not met.
She suspected someone had followed her on a motorcycle lately and the motorcyclist rode past her so quickly that it nearly hit her.
The complainant said her father bought the house for RM70,000 a decade ago and it was introduced by the neighbour.
Her father passed away three years ago.
The neighbour, in her 60s, had offered the woman RM60,000 for the house.
She said when she declined the offer, the neighbour tried to damage the water meter of her house but went for the wrong one.
