MIRI: A sales manager lost more than RM500 worth of cash after a room he stayed in at a budget hotel in the city was broken
into by burglars on Friday morning.
A police report was lodged at Miri Central Police Station (CPS).
It was believed that the burglar entered the room by climbing a pipe pole connected to the room.
Among other things stolen were the victim’s documents and bank cards.
Police are investigating.
