ALOR SETAR: The number of flood evacuees in Pendang increased from 182 people yesterday to 206 as at 4pm yesterday.
Pendang Civil Defence Department operations chief Mohd Izudin Inusneah said the victims involved 57 families from 10 villages.
“The flood victims from Kampung Bonggol Kambing, Hampar Kanan, Pondok Hampar, Bonggol Besi, Sukamari, Alor Punti, Pondok Haji Husin, Tanjung Radin, Tanah Merah Dalam and Lubuk Gajah have been relocated to the Rakan Sukan Centre in Tanah Merah, near here,” he said when contacted. — Bernama
