Four more suspects nabbed over businessman’s murder

SHAH ALAM: Another four suspects have been detained by the police in connection with the murder of a businessman whose body was found near his luxury car at the 5 1/2 milestone Bangi on Sept 9.

Selangor CID chief SAC Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the suspects, aged between 20 and 22, and from Johor, were picked up at several locations since last Thursday.

He told reporters at the state police contingent yesterday, the four were remanded to facilitate investigations into the murder of Wong Sing Keong, 42, who was found bludgeoned near the car.

Passers-by who stumbled on the body about 8am, alerted the police.

Prior to the arrest of the four, a married couple were detained to shed light on Wong’s murder. Subsequently, the woman was released on police bail.

Meanwhile, on the double murder of trader Leong Kian Sheong, 37, and his friend, Vivien Wong, 20, in Taman Segar Perdana, Cheras on Sept 13, the police nabbed five people to assist in investigations.

Mohd Adnan said the suspects, aged between 27 and 58, were picked up between Sept 19 and 28 in Kangar (Perlis), Sungai Buloh (Selangor), and Taman Sentosa and Segamat in Johor. — Bernama
