KUCHING: Six Muaythai clubs in Kuching with the collaboration of the state Youth and Sports Department will be holding the Sarawak Muaythai Charity Challenge 2 cum Borneo Championship at the Youth and Sports Complex here.
To be held from Oct 13 to 14, the event will start from 9am until evening while the final will be held the following day from 8.30am.
Among the objectives of the tournament is to introduce, promote and expand the interest of Muaythai in Sarawak while at the same time as a platform for the youth to participate in a healthy event.
The charity event also aims to produce talents in the Muaythai field. Seven categories will be contested including two children Under-12 categories, where participants is expected to compete for the Borneo Championship belt.
