LIMBANG: A 4×4 vehicle rammed into a school van with passengers yesterday.
The van driver had stopped by a road side at Kampung Limpaung to pick up a passenger at 5.45am when the accident happened, a source said.
“Suddenly, a red vehicle coming from town lost its control and rammed into an Avanza car coming from the opposite direction causing the 4X4 vehicle to skid to the left, hitting the school van from behind,” the source told The Borneo Post.
Due to the impact, the rear of the school van was badly damaged. Luckily, the van driver escaped unhurt and no major casualties were reported.
A police spokesperson when contacted said that all victims only suffered minor injuries.
