KUALA LUMPUR: QNET’s Global Support Centre has bagged two coveted gold awards at the 2012 Top Ranking Performers in the Contact Centre Industry and Awards held in Las Vegas, US.

In a statement yesterday, QNET said the awards made Malaysia number one in the world.

“The award is the Olympics of the contact centre world and is handed out to those considered to be the best of the best,” it said.

QNET’s chief of network services, Malou Caluza, won the gold for Best Executive and was ranked number one in the world.

Global head of operations, Pushpalatha Balan, won the second gold for Best Small Contact Centre (In-house) and was also ranked number one in the world.

QNET is the international flagship subsidiary of the QI Group of Companies.

The awards, organised by the Global Association for Contact Centre Best Practices and Networking, recognise and honour the very best in the industry.

Meanwhile, QNET chairperson, Donna Imson, said winning the world and the Asia-Pacific awards was a testament to the company’s continuous commitment to revolutionise the customer experience.

Imson said as a leading Asian direct-selling company, these awards proved QNET’s continuous commitment to providing superior services to the millions of customers.

“Additionally, the awards recognise our Global Support Centre in Malaysia, at the national and international level.

“We have a unique culture at QNET, and when we measure performance, we don’t just look at quantity of calls handled, we look at quality, behaviour and professionalism too,” Imson said.

QNET is an Asian direct-selling company with upwards of six million customers and independent distributors around the world. — Bernama
