KUCHING: In line with the government’s effort to heighten the practice of smiling among civil servants, the state Information Department yesterday launched its ‘Kempen Amalan Senyum Peringkat Jabatan’.
According to a press statement, the campaign organised by the Media and Corporate Communications Department was held with the objective of enhancing a harmonious and courteous working environment.
“Information is a front-line department that needs quality delivery that is efficient, quick and integrated, especially with the upcoming general elections,” said state Penerangan acting director Zaini Mohamad when launching the campaign.
He added that by cultivating the practice of smiling regularly, this would strengthen ties and ensure good and satisfying service to the community.
