KUCHING: A section of Jalan Raja Setia in front of SMK Bandar Baru No.2 (at the traffic light intersection) here will be closed temporarily on Jan 27 from 12 noon until 6pm.
The closure is to enable the lifting of a pedestrian bridge structure.
As such, the traffic light will be set to amber at all times, a statement from the Public Works Department said.
Traffic police and Rela members will be stationed at the site to control traffic while a fire station there will open a temporary exit lane in front of its headquarters.
