MIRI: A solitary goal by Zamhaddy Sarah in the first half of the final match propelled LEGA LEGO to be champion in the inaugural Miri FIGOS Futsal Carnival.
20 teams competed in the two-day carnival held last weekend at Kelab Rekreasi Petroliam (KRP), Lutong.
LEGA LEGO walked away with a cash prize of RM1,500 while runner-up FBSB-B received RM800.
RM350 each went to joint-third in the carnival, PANNA and FBSB-A.
Teams up to 8th position each received a set of FIGOS jerseys from the tournament sponsors.
Prizes were presented by assistant marketing manager of FIGOS Malaysia Klex Ngooi witnessed by senior officials of Vikings Futsal Sarawak.
Players and fans can also look forward to an upcoming futsal league sponsored by FIGOS Malaysia.
