Restaurant pledges to serve customers quality Chinese cuisine

KUCHING: Hoi Tin Lau, a popular Chinese restaurant located at Jalan Mendu here promises its customers that it will continue the restaurant’s tradition in serving only the best and quality Chinese cuisine to its customers.

Speaking during the restaurant’s annual New Year Dinner celebration recently, master chef Goh Ah Seng said food enthusiasts who are interested in authentic Chinese cuisine can come over to his restaurant.

He assured his customers that they will be satisfied.

“Most dishes served here are Cantonese in origin but we do serve other Chinese cuisines as well.

“My main purpose in opening this restaurant is to serve my customers good food and promote the beauty of Chinese cuisine,” he said.

Goh added Suckling Pig, Szechuan Smoked Duck, Deep-fried Shrimp with Almond Flakes and Steamed Fish are among signature dishes offered.

“We do have some high-profile diners frequenting Hoi Tin Lau. Among the regulars are (Dayak Chamber of Commerce and Industry deputy president) Dato Sri Celestine Ujang and (well-known Iban leader and successful entrepreneur) Tan Sri Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi Tun Jugah and many others,” said Goh.

He added that the restaurant is entering its fifth year of operation this year and revealed that he is grateful for the continuous support from his customers.

Hoi Tin Lau operates from 10am to 2pm and 5.30pm to 11pm daily. The restaurant extends its operation hours to 2am on weekends.
