KUCHING: Forestry Department enforcement team confiscated 63 logs from a factory in Demak Laut light industrial zone last Saturday.
The team carried out the operation following a tip-off.
The department said it would also take action against the factory.
The discovery was made when the enforcement team was checking on lorries along the Kuching-Kota Samarahan-Serian Road since March 1 for illegal logs.
The department will continue to carry out similar operations to tackle illegal logging activities.
