Rimbunan Hijau Foundation was launched in 1982 to provide financial assistance to the needy and deserving students, irrespective of race, religion, or creed.
Tan Sri Datuk Sri Tiong Hiew King is the board of trustees’ chairman. Members are Datuk Tiong Thai King, Tiong Kiong King, Lee Bik Wu, Tiong Yong Like, Chai Tian Yew and the secretary Wong Pek Ngiik.
To-date, the foundation has benefitted 463 students.
