KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has introduced e-Contribution, an online facility that allows employers to remit EPF contributions through i-Akaun on myEPF website, www.kwsp.gov.my.
In a statement, EPF said three main services are provided through e-Contribution, including remittance of payment with form A, submission of form A only and remittance of payment.
EPF deputy chief executive officer for Operations Datuk Ibrahim Taib said this was yet another innovative electronic facility in a bid to take the EPF experience to new heights.
He said the facility is in tandem with its modernising and advancement of its operations in keeping with changes in today’s high technology environment.
“This facility offers employers the benefit of paying their EPF contributions in a secure and time-saving manner, hence enhancing their operational efficiency,” said Ibrahim.
In addition to e-Contribution, the i-Akaun also allows employers to view their list of employees whose contributions have been paid for the month and their contribution history, register new employees and check an employee’s EPF number. — Bernama
