BN wins 129 Parliamentary seats as of 2.15am

KUALA LUMPUR: The Barisan Nasional (BN) won 129 of the 209 parliamentary seats declared as at 2.15am in the 13th General Election.

The Election Commission said the BN won 25 seats in Sarawak, 20 in Sabah, 19 in Johor, 12 in Perak, 10 each in Pahang and Kedah, five each in Kelantan, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan and four each in Melaka and Terengganu.

BN also won three parliamentary seats in Perlis and Penang, respectively, two seats in Kuala Lumpur, as well as Putrajaya and Labuan.

The DAP won 36 parliamentary seats, seven each in Penang and Perak, five each in Kuala Lumpur and Sarawak, four in Johor, three in Selangor, two each in Negeri Sembilan and Sabah and one seat in Melaka.

Meanwhile, PKR won 24 parliamentary seats, with four seats each in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, three seats each in Kedah, Perak and Penang, two in Pahang, and one each in Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak.

PAS has won 20 parliamentary seats — eight in Kelantan, four each in Terengganu and Selangor, two seats in Perak and one seat each in Kedah and Pahang. — BERNAMA
