KUALA LUMPUR: The opposition must accept the reality that they lost the 13th general election (GE13) and use proper channel to show dissatisfaction.

Malaysian Ex-Servicemen’s Association president Admiral (Rtd) Tan Sri Mohd Anwar Mohd Nor said the opposition should not hold protest against the results of GE13.

“In our opinion, GE13 is the best and went on smoothly and in harmony,” he said after chairing a meeting on the Veterans Confederation of
Asean Countries (Veconac) Executive Board meeting here yesterday.

The Veconac executive board meeting here on Saturday will be attended by 50 representatives from Asean ex-servicemen’s associations.

Among the issues to be discussed are the pension system and housing for ex-servicemen. — Bernama
