Plaza Merdeka and The King’s Curry hold roti canai making competition

KUCHING: Plaza Merdeka in partnership with The King’s Curry held a Roti Canai Making showcase and competition last Sunday.

The participants, mostly from culinary schools, impressed the judges with their talent and creativity.

In the end, Ricky Chai from UCSI University emerged champion of the event, followed by first runner-up Liew Yi Jie of SK Chung Hwa and second runner-up Jonathan Tang of UCSI University.

Winners walked away with trophies, hampers and cash vouchers, courtesy of The King’s Curry.

Plaza Merdeka promotes unity in diversity and cultural understanding. This event appealed to people of all backgrounds who came together and had a good time participating.
