KUCHING: From today till Aug 7, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) will be running a ‘Watch & Win’ contest to give loyal movie goers a chance to win fantastic prizes worth over RM38,000.
One of the highlights of the contest is that GSC will be rewarding six lucky winners with a three-day two-night holiday stay for two at any one of these locations – The Mercure Phuket Deevana, Intercontinental Bali Resort and Anantara Bangkok Sathorn.
Additionally, there will be 30 goody bags of branded items worth up to RM1,250, limited edition movie merchandise and GSC Normal Vouchers up for grabs, revealed a press statement issued from Petaling Jaya yesterday.
There are two parts to the contest and patrons have the option to participate in either ‘Selection A’ or ‘Selection B’.
All you have to do is watch selected movies like ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ (release date May 16), ‘Now You See Me’ (release date May 30), ‘After Earth’ (release date June 6), ‘World War Z’ (release date June 20), ‘The Lone Ranger’ (release date July 4) and ‘RED 2’ (release date July 20) at your nearest GSC locations, attach the movie ticket stubs to the contest forms and you are on your way to win fabulous prizes.
There are five steps to participate in the contest.
Step one is to purchase two movie tickets for the movies ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’, ‘Now You See Me’, ‘After Earth’, ‘World War Z’, ‘The Lone Ranger’, and ‘RED 2’from any GSC location from May 16 to August 7, 2013.
Ticket stubs or self-print tickets must be retained as proof of purchase.
Step two is to grab a contest form at any of GSC locations nationwide and fill the required information in the contest form. Participants can also log onto GSC website at www.gsc.com.my <http://www.gsc.com.my> or GSC Facebook at www.facebook.com/GSCinemas <http://www.facebook.com/GSCinemas> to print out the contest form.
Step 3 is to answer two simple questions and complete a slogan.
Step four is (for Selection A) to attach two paid ticket stubs/self-print tickets from any of the movies selection. For Selection B, attach two paid ticket stubs/self-print tickets from each of the three movies in the above selection.
Step five is to drop off the contest forms into the contest box located at any GSC location.
Participants can send in as many entries as they like but each contestant can only win one prize in either Selection A or Selection B.
E-Payment and mobile apps users can submit their self-print tickets in lieu of the ticket stubs.
Contest winners will be chosen based on all correct answers and in the event of a tie, the most creative and catchy slogan will be the deciding factor.
Contestants must be Malaysian citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia, aged 18 and above as at May 16.
