KUCHING: Kuching Memorial Services Sdn Bhd is planning to launch a new zone named ‘Xanadu’ at Nirvana Memorial Park by the end of this year.

Managing director Anna Wong revealed this when speaking at Kuching Memorial Services Recognition Night 2013 held at the Thian Court Crown Imperial Hall on Wednesday.

Bandar Kuching MP Chong Chieng Jen was the guest of honour for the night.

According to her, the new zone will be constructed on a paradise concept with green and natural surroundings aligned with good feng shui.

“The new zone will be equipped with modern designs and better facilities as well,” she said, reassuring people of peace of mind when they get a plot at the new zone.

She also announced that they had recently gone into a joint venture with Yongiway Health and launched a ‘physical and mental health, prosperous life’ plan.

Yongiway founder Dr YT Lim is an outstanding health mentor, she pointed out.

The health plan is non-profit in nature and the company will sponsor part of the cost to interested participants.

“With more than 10 years in this particular industry, I have seen a lot of life and death situations and diseases which affect our health. As such, it inspired me to bring you a healthcare programme,” she said.

She stressed that people should observe Nirvana Memorial Park as an eternal home, regardless of race, culture and religion.

During the function, the company donated RM5,000 to the Taiwan Buddhist Tzu-Chi Foundation of Malaysia for the victims of Sichuan earthquake that happened last month.

Chong, speaking as guest of honour, said the company had been improving its services by launching new products every year.

“There is always a new product launched each year and this is actually for the people’s benefit.

“I wish to congratulate the company for its success and for constant improving services,” he said.

He congratulated all the agents for their achievements, which contributed to the company’s success.
