KOTA KINABALU: The Perfect Livin ’13 home and lifestyle exhibition organizer is targeting to hit more than RM30 million in sales in the four-day expo held at 1Borneo Hypermall.

Dato’ Adriana Law, managing director of iStar Ideas Factory Sdn Bhd and founder of Perfect Livin, said the exhibition served as a one-stop home and living exhibition not only for new home owners, but also for those who wished to renovate their houses.

“In Kuala Lumpur, we found that there is a sudden surge of customers from Sabah for the past two years due to the strong property growth here,” she said.

Thanking the developers for boosting the market here, she explained this is the reason Sabah was chosen for the first time as part of the nationwide Perfect Livin exhibition that has been held for the past five years.

Kota Kinabalu was the fifth stop out of the 12 Perfect Livin ’13 exhibitions that will be held nationwide this year. The event is held at 1Borneo Hypermall from May 30 to June 2, from 11am to 9pm.

The exhibition showcases over 300 booths from 100 participating companies, with products ranging from audio visual and home appliances, furniture, furnishing and home decorations, kitchen renovation and innovations, bath and sanitary wares, bedding, wardrobe and fittings, doors, windows, gates and grilles, smart homes, lighting and security systems, wall and floor finishing and more. Perfect Livin ’13 features international brands such as Sharp, Panasonic and Signature Kitchen.

“We have good packages here, some offering 50 to 70 per cent discounts. So don’t miss out,” she said in an interview at the venue here yesterday.

Law said home owners were no longer satisfied with a simple home to live in, but demanded perfect designs and furnishings.

She said the response at Perfect Livin ’13 held in Kuching on April 25-28 was overwhelming, with more than 80,000 visitors and over RM30 million in sales. A four-day exhibition at PWTC in Kuala Lumpur recorded RM150 million in sales, she added.

Law hoped to achieve 70,000 visitors here and more than RM30 million in sales.

“If the response is encouraging, we will have two more exhibitions before Hari Raya and Christmas.”

She pointed out Perfect Livin ’13 was different from other home and living exhibitions in the sense that it is more professional and features major brands.

“The structures (of the exhibition booth) are not cheap because the exhibitors are not only here to do business, but to showcase their brands.”

Law recommended visitors to bring along their floor plans for them to get instant quotation on the spot.

Consumers who registered themselves as a visitor at Perfect Livin ’13 will walk away with exclusive welcome gift. The first 1,000 visitors will receive a limited edition Perfect Livin aluminum drinking bottle, every single day. A total of 2,000 Perfect Livin’ sling bags are also up for grabs daily.

The organizer is giving out a brand new iPad Mini to a lucky registered visitor daily.

In addition, customers with purchase of RM500 and above will be entitled to redeem a gift from a range of branded items. The higher the purchase, the higher the value of the gift is.

Customers who spend RM100 may also stand a chance to win an array of prizes in Perfect Livin’ Purchase & Win contest.

A Freiburg mattress from Hilker worth RM6,990 each and a Mylanohaus recliner chair worth RM1,990 each are be won.
