KUCHING: Coupons for St Thomas Cathedral’s Parish Sale on July 6 are now available.
The Dean, the Very Revd Michael Buma Galami, said RM60,000 worth of coupons are on sale.
He said that proceeds from the annual sale will go to fund the cathedral’s various ministries and projects.
“The annual Parish Sale is a time to praise God for His blessings throughout the year and for fellowship with one another,” he said.
“We hope parishioners, fellow Christians and members of the public will get the coupons which can be used to purchase a variety of homemade delicacies such as pansuh, barbecued meat and fish, laksa, ngo hiang, kacang ma, and special curries.”
Michael also called for more volunteers to set up stalls to ensure that the sale, previously held in September, would also be a success on its new date this year.
Coupons are available from the Parish Office and members of the Cathedral’s various ministries.
Donations of cash, food, and other saleable items such as clothing, books, magazines and electrical appliances in good condition are welcome.
