KUCHING: U Cha,which specialise in milk tea, opens its second outlet at Summer Shopping Mall in Kota Samarahan here, to offer the local community the chance to enjoy high quality milk tea and pure tea series.
The first outlet at CityOne shopping mall is well received by milk tea lovers and with the opening of the outlet at Summer Shopping Mall, greater response is expected.
U Cha’s marketing and investor relations director Liza Kong said following increasing demand here, they are looking forward to opening up a third outlet soon and they welcome interested investors.
“U Cha has been well received by Sarawakians especially Kuchingites. Our drinks suit all age groups, from children to young people to the elderly. The older people can enjoy our pure tea series like jasmine green tea, black tea, paddy fragrance tea, and oriental U Cha,” she said yesterday.
The top five popular drinks are their signature paddy fragrance milk tea, coconut smoothie, maccha smoothies with tremella, fresh mixed fruit tea and chocolate cookies with raspberry cocoa.
Their ‘U Style coffee’ is also the top selling drink in the coffee series.
For hot drinks category, chocolate and black beauty mocha remain popular choices.
The second outlet’s design concept is based on a summer beach theme.
“Since we open at Summer Shopping Mall, we also want our design to be based on the summer beach concept,” she added.
She pointed out their company’s strength is preparing freshly brewed tea on the spot upon receiving order to give the best aroma and taste to consumers.
“If tea is prepared too early, its aroma and taste would be reduced after half an hour,” she said.
Customers can customise their sugar and ice level. However, ice level cannot be customised for Yakult, yogurt and smoothie series.
They also do delivery for five cups and above within Kota Samarahan area and free delivery for eight cups and above from 12.30pm to 7pm daily.
U Cha at Summer shopping mall opens from 10am to 10pm daily.
