KUCHING: Servay Hypermarket and Parkwell Departmental Store held its grand opening yesterday with a lion dance and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by Servay Hypermarket and Parkwell Departmental Store Group managing director Lai Kock Poh, executive director Yong Mee Yam, director P’ng Ngee Yew, Summer Mall managing director Dato Lee Chee Fui and executive director Dato Bong Siak Kee.
It is the group’s 16th and the first in Kuching. To commemorate its opening, the hypermarket and departmental store held a one-day promotion yesterday.
Housed inside The Summer Mall – the latest integrated commercial hub – Servay and Parkwell occupies lower ground floor (LG), upper ground floor (UG) and the first floor of the building.
LG floor consists of departments such as hardware, car care and accessories, household, toys and baby accessories, electrical appliances and parts, sports and recreations, gifts, stationery and ‘School Essentials’.
UG floor is the complete supermarket, offering ‘Food’, ‘Non Food’ and ‘Fresh Market’ departments. First floor comprises of branded men’s and ladies’ fashion wear, lingerie and undergarments, footwear and handbags, leather goods and accessories, children wears, infant’s apparel and accessories, cotton linen, bedding and home furnishing.
Customers can also take part in the ‘Riang Ria Raya Bersama Servay and Parkwell’ Lucky Draw Contest with total prizes worth more than RM300,000 up for grabs.
Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm daily.
