KUCHING: SJK Chung Hua No. 5 Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) contributed goodies and donations to Hope Centre here recently.

The contribution was delivered under its ‘We Care’ campaign held in conjunction with the forthcoming Hari Raya celebration.

According to a press release, they hope to bring joy and happiness to the poor and unfortunate through the campaign.

The donations were collected during its second e-waste campaign.

MRC hopes to educate its members about love and care towards the poor and needy through the meaningful activity.

Meanwhile, the school urged the public to donate their used and obsolete computers and computer-related items to be recycled during the school’s third e-waste campaign to be held at the school’s premises from 9am to 12 noon on July 27.

They will also collect electrical and electronic items such as television and refrigerator as well as used clothing.

The money collected will be used for charity purposes.
