FESTIVAL FOR GRADUATES: A promotional poster of Polytechnic Mukah Sarawak’s (PMS) Convo Festival to celebrate its 6th convocation from Sept 5 to 10.
MUKAH: Polytechnic Mukah Sarawak (PMS) will be holding its 6th convocation for 850 diploma and certificate students under eight programmes on Sept 9 and 10.
Chief Minister Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud is expected to officiate at the event on the first day while the second session would be graced by Department of Polytechnic Education Malaysia director-general Datuk Mohlis Jaafar.
The convocation is for students graduating from several fields of studies including Diploma in Engineering for civil, mechanical and electronics, Diploma in Information Technology for Information Technology and Programming, Diploma in Network Pengaturacaraan as well as Diploma in Secretarial, Accountancy and Business Studies.
In a publicity release yesterday, PMS advised all students to give immediate feedback on their attendance at the convocation, the latest by Aug 29.

PMS will be holding a 6-day Convo Festival from 8am to 10.30pm from Sept 5 to 10.
Among the activities to be carried out for the six-day festival are education exhibition, auto show, mini fair, football competition and sports activities for the public.
PMS invites the public from around Mukah to the Convo Festival and to participate in activities to celebrate the 6th convocation of Polytechnic Mukah Sarawak.
