KOTA KINABALU: Minister of Special Tasks Datuk Teo Chee Kang welcomed Singaporeans to invest in Sabah in efforts to spur the state’s economy and create a win-win situation for both parties.

Teo said Sabah was an ideal investment location due to its rich natural resources and strategic geographical location.

He said this when meeting the Deputy High Commissioner of Singapore in Kuala Lumpur, Ariel Tan, and First Secretary of the High Commission, Jeevan Singh, here yesterday.

On the other hand, Tan informed Teo that Singapore was exploring potential investment locations in Malaysia, and thus the visit to Sabah.

Tan added that she had visited many cabinet ministers during her visit here to foster closer ties between both parties.
