KUCHING: The 2nd International Orchid Show will be held at Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) Orchid Park from Sept 5 to Sept 8, 2013.
The show will feature participants from Japan, China, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Ecuador, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam and Malaysia (Johor).
The show forms part of the effort to turn Kuching into a colourful city, and to attract the attention of local and foreign orchid enthusiasts.
Visitors are in for a treat as they can learn planting techniques from the orchid experts present.
Several activities have been lined up in conjunction with the show. These include an interschool landscape competition, national-level flower arrangement competition, and an orchid bazaar.
