KOTA KINABALU: Rimaju Floor strives to bring the best service to the public and in order to serve their customers better, it has invested in a new showroom at Metro Town, along Jalan Bunga Ulam Raja here.

According to its managing director Yee Kai Man, the new showroom centralizes all of Rimaju’s products, such as Signature Kitchen and Kubiq.

“At Rimaju in Metro Town, we are a one-stop centre for your housing furnishings and fittings needs, from flooring to kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, appliances and counter tops.

“Our products range from high-end European imported goods to the ‘every house can own’ affordable Kubiq Kitchens offerings,” he said at the official opening of the showroom yesterday.

Yee added that their latest product is the Rimaju Counter Tops which offers the latest materials such as quartz stone, solid surface and Jomeco solid wood to fulfill the needs of consumers.

He disclosed that in 1991, Rimaju started with solid wood flooring. It then became the distributor for Inovar laminated floor five years later, followed by engineered floor 10 years back.

“Rimaju is now dealing with vinyl floor which it believes is the latest trend in the flooring market,” he said, adding that Rimaju has been working with Signature Kitchen since 2002.

“The presence of Signature Kitchen in various overseas countries really make us proud because it is a Malaysian made product,” Yee said.

“In order to meet the needs of household owners who wish to have quality kitchen cabinets and wardrobes at affordable prices, we brought in Kubiq two years ago which is now located on the first floor of this new showroom.

“With the self-involvement concept and no frills approach, costs are reduced and transferred to our customers as reflected in the price of products,” he said, adding that as the master licensees and stockist of Kubiq products in Sabah, Rimaju is constantly looking for more licensees as well as dealers throughout Sabah and Labuan FT.

Also present at the event were PAM Sabah Chapter chairman AR Victor Wong, Signature Kitchen retail director KS Lau, Inovar Floor executive director Jason Tan and Rimaju Group director Yee Dean Ching.
