MIRI: Some 145 people took part in the ‘Hari Malaysia Ride-Go Cycle 4 Autism’ event yesterday.
The cycling event was jointly organised by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Miri, Miri City Council (MCC), Northern Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA), Federation of Sarawak Journalists Associations (FSJA), Permy Mall and Boulevard Mall.
Covering a distance of 16.9 km, the route started at Permy Mall and ended at Boulevard Mall to signify September 16, the date Malaysia was formed in 1963.
About RM1,500 was raised during the event for the Miri Autistic Association.
