KUCHING: Food lovers are welcomed to Aurora’s Hawker Buffet @ Aurora Court from Oct 5 onwards to enjoy culinary innovation crafted by the restaurant’s executive chef Chef Melvin Ben and his team. It features local famous street delicacies via live action cooking.
To be held every Saturday throughout the month of October from 6.30pm to 10pm, the buffet will present several mouth watering dishes such as ice meats and seafood hot plate grill at the order station and an oven-baked whole snapper richly marinated and dressed with spicy ‘sambal’ on the carving station.
At the noodles section, an array of choices such as ‘mee jawa’, ‘char kway teow’, ‘kolo mee’ and ‘laksa’ is also served.
In addition, the buffet will present a delectable and scrumptious array of local and international appetisers, soups and dessert stations offering mixed local ‘rojak’, four types of traditional ‘kerabu’, local shrimp and fish ceviche (‘umai’), fresh assorted green salads, Waldof salad, spiced beef and chicken broth.
There would also be a warm apple crumble with custard sauce, French pastries, sago ‘gula melaka’ and several varieties of homemade Malay ‘kuih’, assorted jellies and crème brulee, ice cream with condiments of chocolate sauce, strawberry puree sauce and crunchy peanuts and an an ice-kacang station.
Available every Saturday at our all day dining restaurant at the Aurora Court, the buffet is priced at RM59 for an adult while RM29 will be charged for children aged 5 to 12 years old.
