Pre-matured report on Bumburing – APS

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Reform Movement (APS) yesterday described a report that its chief, Datuk Wilfred Bumburing, is to join Pakatan Kebangsaan Sabah (PKS) as pre-mature.

APS chief information officer Lesaya Lopog Sorudim said yesterday that it had not been decided that Bumburing would join PKS and he might opt to join another party other than PKS.

Lesaya advised all APS members and supporters to suspend all activities related to PKS.

Bumburing, who won the Tamparuli state seat under a PKR ticket in the May 5 general election this year, was reported to be ready to helm the newly-registered Opposition party.

Sources said the main reason for Bumburing’s move was his disappointment with the way PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had handled various party matters in Sabah.
