MIRI: Seventy Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd staff, 564 Isuzu vehicle owners and their family members had a fun-filled day at Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort last Saturday.

The family-day outing formed part of Isuzu Malaysia’s ‘Isuzu Day Out’ programme, and it was organised in collaboration with KM Mobil Sdn Bhd.

“I am very happy to be with Isuzu owners here. They have contributed a lot to Isuzu and help Isuzu grow towards success,” said Isuzu Malaysia executive director Katsuro Ishihara in his welcoming speech.

Ishihara, who is also the general manager for the engineering and service division, said the event was also a way for Isuzu to show its appreciation to its clients.

All expenses for the one day trip to the resort were paid by the organiser.

Meanwhile, KM Mobil Sdn Bhd managing director Tan Kim Hoon said the programme was just one of the many community programmes planned for Isuzu customers here.

“This is an annual event. A similar gathering was held last year, but in a smaller scale. We also have other events in the pipeline for our customers in the months to come.”

Participants of the event left Miri in a convoy on Isuzu vehicles at 9.30am and arrived at the resort around noon.
