KDJA holds Sports Day at Le’Park

KUCHING: Kuching Division Journalists Association (KDJA) held its annual Sports Day in collaboration with Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd (MLNG) at Le’Park yesterday.

Over 100 journalists from local print and broadcast media took part.

The media organisations that had sent representatives were Bernama, The Borneo Post, International Times, Kosmo, The New Sarawak Tribune, Media Prima Group (Berita Harian, New Straits Times, TV3 and Harian Metro), RTM, See Hua
Daily, Sin Chiew Daily, The Star, The Sun Daily, United Daily News, Utusan Borneo, Utusan Sarawak, Utusan Malaysia, CATS FM and Jabatan Penerangan.

KDJA Sports Day is an annual event organised in appreciation of the reporters who had been working hard throughout the year. At the same time, it was to promote healthy lifestyle among members of the media fraternity.

Four sports were played during the event, namely futsal, volleyball, tug-of-war, and coconut bowling.

Among those present were KDJA president Sulok Tawie and MLNG head of public affairs Norazibah Mohd Rabu.
